Note: In this article and for the purposes of this documentation, ‘SAP’ refers to SAP Sales and Service Cloud V2.
Before logging in into Donna and connecting SAP, we strongly recommend to create a dedicated SAP integration user and using this integration user to set up the integration, rather than using your own personal Salesforce (admin) user account.
On this page, we describe how to create an integration user. Consider these instructions as a recommendation, rather than a strict guideline. Follow your own company policies while creating this user.
Login to SAP and in the right top corner, click on the profile icon, then click System Settings. On the System Settings page, click on Roles. Click on roles dropdown and select Technical Roles. Click on the plus icon button to create a new role.
Enter a Technical Role Name.
Disable Admin.
Click Add Business Services and add the following business services. Consider the listed business services to be an example. Exact services depend on the use cases covered with Donna.
sap.crm.md.accountservice.entity.account
sap.crm.md.contactpersonservice.entity.contactPerson
